Our History

The Science Translation Foundation (STF) is a reimagining of a previous nonprofit organization, which in April 2024 completed its call to action to combat misinformation and advance scientific understanding on COVID-19 through simplified content and messaging. While our mission remains unchanged, our scope has been expanded to include new services that are certain to provide novel public benefit to a broader range of organizations and stakeholders.

We view our role in science translation as a response to three critical challenges in the continuum of evidence: how to transform data into meaningful evidence, harness evidence to design and implement impactful action, and evaluate action to assure meaningful outcomes.
